Good Points

I just visited Allegro Papagayo February 15-22 2004. The food was great. The best point of the whole trip is when we came upon the business card of a starting out tour guide. His tours were better then any hotel thing one can set up. Better prices, smaller groups, and personal service.


Bad Points

Sometimes the buffet food was so mass produced that it was not that great on certain days.


General Comments

Over all I would recommend the Occidental Allegro Papagayo to friends and family. Just make sure you are ready to be in the middle of nowhere. ALso, bring plenty of bug spray because the bugs bites look like chickenpox!
