Good Points

An all-round winner! I am on my second one (silver plated) but still have my laquered one.
Great tone, big sound. Lead a Traditional Jazz Band with this baby.

Bad Points

The Amado water keys tend to stick a little, but new springs sort that out.

General Comments

The Jupiter 416BL is without doubt the best pocket trumpet around at the price. Why buy the "next one up" (Benge) when you cannot tell the difference in sound and save £700 / £800.

This is a misguiding overstatement. There is definitely a difference between Jupiter and Benge. They clearly belong to different leagues in terms of intonation, beauty of sound and dynamics. Having played both, I decided it was worth putting extra money into buying Benge. I also find inpolite from the reviewer the practice of praising the instrument being reviewed by discrediting another, as well as lying about the price difference (which is approx. GBP 400 in fact)
