Good Points

polyphonic ring tones including a composer

Bad Points

very quiet ring tones
no infra red or blue tooth
keypad is too small and fiddly
i want a phone book not an address book!
no changeable covers
flimsy mains charger
wap / gprs is very slow
short cuts a nightmare (too complicated)

General Comments

Having only had this Siemens M55 mobile phone 10 days i havn`t explored every application. however those that i did were quite good. the filing system in particular, once you get used to it! anything you download or receive can be put into a file of your choice with the option of adding more files.
for some bizzar reason my phone would not change the ring tone i wanted when people phoned up. why?
the shape of the phone is very nice but unless you have smurf hands you will find it a complete nightmare to write text messages!!
another bad point is the lack of infra red or blue tooth which means you cannot beam no.s or tones or syncronise with any other phone or hardware.(you can apparently link up to a pc using a cable and additional software not included!)overall this is a nice little phone but just not for my needs (or hand size!) and i would recomend it to some and not for others.

You may have been a bit too hard to this phone. It is small, but since when is that a disadvantage? The keys are small but responsive, and it is clear if you pressed a key or not. Unlike some phones, where you must have key-tones on. At the end, there is no such thing as a mobile phone perfect for everyone. This one is very close to be perfect for its target audience, which are young people who want feature-rich phone, without having to give an arm and a leg for it. This is one fine product.
