-Very good 3d, Direct X 9 performance
-Pixel and vertex shader effects are fully elobarated in all 3d programs that support it

ATi Radeon's 9800 series of graphic processers is amoung the finest in the 3D world. The 9800's series greatness starts with the 9800 non pro. This Video card features an ingenious 8x1 Pixel rendering Pipelines for exterme memory bandwidth, the memory interface is 256-bit DDR-RAM, for transfers up to 18GB/s. It features a unique heatsink/fan combo for maximum core cooling, even under extremely warm conditions this video card is stable by all means.It has 128MB's of memory for todays demanding games. Direct X 9.0 is where it really excels, though. Direct X 9.0 is a new cinematic computing platform, where things that were un-achieveable before like complex shadow's and lighting effects, are now easy created. This new standard is what future games will be using, so it's imperative that you have the right hardware. I highly suggest that if you're in the market for a computer upgrade, to get this product. The 9800 PRO and 9800XT are also excellent cards, but also pretty expensive. Thumbs up on this product
