"no disc" error just like everyone else

General Comments

I had the dvd player for about a year and a half, and had absolutely no problems with it, until it just gave the "no disc" error. $160 to repair it, so I'm going to trash it and get a new one. Bottom line: absolute waste of money.

    Same Sony model, same issue. Look's like this is a defective product model from Sony or they just make it that way so they get the repair cost or need you to buy a new DVD player every year or so!

    Should have a product recall!!!
