Very slow txt delivery
Poor battery life even with minimal use
General Comments
After initially getting used to the menus (only had Nokias before) the Panasonic GD87 mobile phone was okay; great camera (despite the tiny images), ringtones all good etc.etc. After a few weeks I began hearing from friends that the Panasonic GD87 was to say the least temperamental and delicate (the slightest bit of condensation - over night in a car for example - was enough to make the keys malfunction). With this in mind I took extra care, never dropped it, never got it near water, never left it in direct sunlight.
About a month ago the phone began to randomly turn itself off approx. once a week. This has gradually increased to around five times a day and its now accompanied by the wallpaper returning to the default backgrounds in the fixed data file. Its got to the point where its becoming unusable and unbelievably frustrating. A friend bought the same phone a week after me and he begun to experience the same problems I have. The galling thing is we both paid a £180 upgrade fee to Orange.
Its pretty obvious that Panasonic have released and sold a faulty phone. Surely there are enough of us out there with knackered GD87s to demand that Panasonic do something?
On average, people found this review somewhat helpful

I had exactly the same problem, phone turns itself off 80% of the time when sending and receiving texts, totally un-reliable. I urge you not to buy this product unless Panasonic issue some assurance that these problems have been rectified. Unforunately I have no recourse as mine is just out of guarantee....oh well, live and learn.
