Excellent image quality. Cheap

SCSI interface required. Slow
General Comments
The scanner takes at least a minute to scan a picture but the results are good.
Using SCSI is a problem because you need to switch your scanner on before your PC so that the PC recognises it. There is a way round this by refreshing the hardware list in the control panel system settings.
Ive had this for 12 months and cant justify changing it as I have a digital camera too.

I have the Agfa SnapScan 1212P (Parallel Port Version). It is very slow, takes ages to scan a full A4 page. The bundled software is quite good. I highly recommend updating the Agfa software, the new version is much better!
