Easy to use.
Image quality is excellent.
6xzoom
Video capture with sound (60 seconds)
EVF/LCD is really dark in low lighting (i.e. at night), even with adjusting the contrast.
No Case or wrist strap.
Fiddly controls, but not a real major problem.
Invest in rechargeable NiMHbatteries/charger.
I've only had the camera a few hours and I have found it incredibly easy to use and I'm amazed at the quality of images that I've taken so far. The 2MP is more than enough for what I wanted the camera for. My first digital camera was a Fuji 2200, which I still have and it has produced some really brilliant photos. My days of using a Canon EOS 500 SLR and Kodak films are well and truly over -I part exchanged this for the 2800 and its the best thing I did!
My only gripe is, that I find that the controls are slightly fiddly on the 2800 though, and the shape of the camera is taking some getting used to.
I spent several weeks reading through review after review and finally decided on the 2800 and I'm really happy I chose this and not the Minolta S304 which a local shop tried to sell me.
I paid £299 for my camera, the bundle included a 16mb card, but the store threw in a 64mb card for free.
The video mode is a nice feature to have, and it has sound too.
I haven't yet used all the features on the camera yet, but for the price, I am very pleased with it.
If you want a camera that is easy to use and produces excellent pictures, go out and buy it - you won't be disappointed!
