Good Points

Murakami's characters are special, even a bit strange, but very loveable - his stories are mainly set in Japan and show so many details about Japanese culture, its people and habits - Murakami's unique way of describing situations, people and objects will keep you reading on and on ...

Bad Points

General Comments

Two days ago, I finished reading Sputnik Sweetheart by Murakami Haruki - and still, so many times of the day, I find myself wondering about how the characters of the book would have reacted in this or that situation.

It is an immensely beautifully written book - the story starting from the very first sentence of the first page. So, there are no unnecessary explanations or descriptions, the story flows on and on ...

And soon, you will start understanding the main character K. as well as Sumire, the outstanding girl this story is all about.

Respect given for magusachan.'s review.
