Accurate (with the right pellets, GAMO PRO MAGNUM in my experience),
fairly powerful.
Heavy,
lack of stopping power
I'm 13 and my grandad owns one of these well engineered pieces of kit. I borrow this BSA Super star off him nearly every other day, and if I can't make a hunting trip i'm plinking with it in the garden.
I have fired well over 2000 shots so far and it's still accurate well out to about 45 yards. My friend, who is about 22 and well experienced with this gun, was probably using it before I was born!! Once shot a pigeon in the head with it at 55 METERS!!! Now thats accuracy for you. Overall this is an accurate gun with the right pellets (I use GAMO PRO MAGNUM). This gun prefers long pointy pellets. It has a fair bit of power. It's a bit on the heavy side but you get used to it. Shame they don't make them anymore, oh well.
