Good Points

Size vs zoom range. Well designed zoom-control & mode-set buttons. LCD display lights up when modes are set, very nice.
Best finder I've yet to find(!) on a camera in this class. Comes with diopter adjustment.

Bad Points

Lens-cover/on/off-swith can feel somewhat flimsy (but is OK in practise though).
I'd liked it to be 28-85 / 28-90mm something, but that would take its toll in size/weight/cost so...
Nothing seriously bad with this gem really.

General Comments

The Konica Lexio 70 35mm compact camera is almost "the perfect compromise" in zoom range for this money = 28-70 mm!!!
The finder is so big and clear making it very easy to frame subjects, and gives good view of flash-/focus control-lamps too.
Handling of controls and "feel" in hands are in my opinion also of the better standard, as is the optical quality in general (I haven't tried it in serious back-lighting).
For the size and price one of the better alternatives to look for, "brothered" by it's stablemate the Lexio 115. Same camera with another lens, a few small design differences and a few grams and parts of cubic inches added. The zoom on the 115 starts at 38mm making the Lexio 70 better for more general "family/travel" shootage. As mostly is the fact the lens loses some light gathering capability at the long end of the zoom = use 400 ISO and up if not shooting in sunny situations or close with flash.
Finally, it looks the business if anything...
