Alan Fisk.'s Review of Yashica T4 Super Weatherproof 35mm Compact Camera
5th Mar 2001
Overall Rating
- Value for money

Very portable, good lens
Bad Points
Long delay before shutter fires, noisy, metering system doesn't cope well with high-contrast scenes, automatic rewind winds the film completely into the cassette.
General Comments
I'm using the T5, which is exactly the same camera, but with another name for the European market. I had trouble liking this camera until I realised that the right way to use it is to accept the automatic mode 99 per cent of the time. I kept using the fiddly and maddening mode-changing button. If you relax and let the camera make the decisions, you'll nearly always get good results.
