Cheap, wonderfully cheap, in fact. Plays VCD's which many DVD players costing more money won't.
VCD's can be a little jumpy at first but soon settle down. Instruction manual might as well be written in Mongolian Braille.
It does exactly what it says on the tin. The Alba DVD114 is a cheap DVD player that also plays VCD's and music CD's. If you buy one of these players so you can access the extra features that DVD's offer over video tapes, and a higher quality of picture to boot, then you won't go far wrong. Expect it to make popcorn and dispense coke for this sort of money and you'll be disappointed because it won't. Overall a reasonable entry level DVD player.
