General Comments

If you need a truck rated at no more than 1/2-ton, the Toyota Tundra is the truck for you. This truck drives much more like a car than anything the "big 3" have ever produced. The engine is so smooth with excellent power that seems to be present from top to bottom. This is the thinking man's truck. Take my advice: When you have had enough of repairs to the air conditioners, transmissions, and electrical components of your Ford, Chevy, or Dodge, trade that rig in and understand what all the hubbub is about.

yes i agree the tundra is a well built truck, i have a 2002 4x4 tundra, it drives like a sports car, its got the get up and go if you want it to, i have had a 1995 gmc gemmy 4x4 it is a rust bucket, i can't complain much, i have had it for 20 years, but man what a rust bucket, i plan on keeping the tundra for 20 years, i bought this truck for my retirement in a few years, i wanted a truck that would not rust apart i hope this one won't, because when i retire i wont be able to afford another one.
