General Comments
I bought this Fji Tiara 2000ix MRC APS camera to replace a well used and much loved Canon Ixus L-1 (Elph in the US, I believe) which died on me after almost 5 years of constant (and punishing) use. I knew the Ixus would be a tough act to follow but chose the Fuji almost on impulse/intuition. It is a stunner in every way you care to name. The quality of the lens is excellent (all the more surprising because Zooms are always something of a compromise) and the metering and focus accuracy are quite simply stunning.
