Sports Direct - An awful awful company - Do not buy from them. I purchased 3 items and paid for next day delivery as needed 1 of the items urgently. The item I really needed urgently was out of stock but they did not tell me. They dispatched the parcel without advising me 1 of the items would not be enclosed. Had they have bothered to tell me I would have amended my order and would not have needed the extra expense of next day delivery. I only realised that my important item would be missing when they sent an e-mail saying the parcel was dispatched. I noticed there was no mention of the one item i really needed. I had to e-mail and ask them why it was not included in the parcel. They really should tell you if an item is out of stock before they send your parcel. You can't phone them as they hide in their plush offices refusing to give you a contact number. I have asked for a refund on the next day delivery fee but they have not given this to me. I am going to report them to Trading Standards and the Office of Fair Trading and I urge everyone who is having similar problems to do the same. Please remember if you are sending something back as it is faulty, they have a duty to refund you your return postage. That is law under the Distance Selling Act. NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE - THE WORST CASE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS.
