1 star is way too much. After what appeared a nice discussion with the Utilita sales rep with promises of £180 pa savings, probably more as I was on economy 7 with my old supplier (not needed) a date of 23 April '17 was agreed for installation. In mid April I received a letter stating prices had increased as of 1st April, this was not mentioned in the original meeting. I phoned, listened to hundreds of needless messages and then over an hour waiting for a connection with a customer care rep. I wanted to leave, but was told it was past 14 days since the contract was entered into, further I am still on economy 7 when I mentioned this the customer rep decided they had problems with their phones and immediately disconnected the call. I have tried several times but gave up after running up huge phone bills waiting on hold for an eternity.
So much for saving money, on my electric with SSE i was spending around £40 a month in summer, with this joke of a company i am spending double that.
Do yourselves a huge favour and steer well clear of these rogue traders.
