“Competitive price but incompetant. Terrible customer...”

I recently purchased motorcycle insurance from Devitt.
Good price, I saved a few quid. So that's the good news.
Please read on...
After 10 days I still had not received an email with my documents so I rang to enquire. It took 3 attempts to get through to anyone, wasted about an hour in total. They had spelt my first name wrong so my email address was wrong, so no documents. These were then sent to the correct email address, but still with my name spelled incorrectly. So then we had another tedious exchange to correct the policy documents. After a week or two I received another email stating my policy was to be cancelled by my insurers as they had not received proof of no claims - which I had sent TWO WEEKS previously. So after another 40 minutes on hold, I spoke to a disinterested sounding employee who said it was a mistake, it was a standard email that should have been cancelled. I was then sent an email to confirm everything was in order. Then I was sent a repeat of the first email stating my insurance was going to be cancelled, just a few hours later. I finally managed to confirm they had received my NCD proof after yet another phone call, which I now have a letter to prove.
I sincerely hope I don't have to make a claim for obvious reasons...
