“Abandoned by Ryanair”

My Ryanair flight from Rome was cancelled after a 3 hour wait at the departure gate on 10.09.17 . we were told by airport staff that no Ryanair staff were actually based at the airport where about 90% of flights were Ryanair flights is disgraceful.
There was no one to help so we arrange our own flights home with another company incurring a cost of over £300. We were not given any help with food and drink transport or accommodation which I believe is required by law.
We spent the night at the airport along with many others.
This was a total disgrace and I will never book another flight with Ryanair.
