“I wouln't have given one star!”

I wouldn't have given them one star, but had to in order to leave a review my review and experience and to warn people just how bad they were when I purchased a so called "Double Flowering Black Dragon Wisteria!"
The wisteria plant that we received from “Gardening Express” was not anything like as described as in the advert. “Being a Strong Established flowering sized plants supplied in approx. 2-4 litre containers” Our plant clearly wasn’t any of that!
Firstly the size that is stated in their advert; the minimum size pot would be from 6.5 “to a size of 8” and when reading the advert this would led you to believe that a established healthy plant relevant to that size of pot would be expected? No. The wisteria plant we received had no resemblance to the description advertised in the advert. It was not in a 2 – 4 litre pot, it was not established and also it was not a healthy plant. Far from it. The plant came in a small pot which was only 4.5” in size.
Our other main issue and complaint was the plant was not strong – nor established and of a flowering size plant as per description and the plant label had no mention that the plant was in fact a double flowering Wisteria plant. So we can only assume it wasn’t a double flowering plant? To add to all this It was damaged and poorly parcelled and protected. When received the pot was completely dried up and separated from the plant and lying in the box. The plant was damaged, albeit slightly (Two stems at the top) But the plant was not an established
As already said on checking out on pot sizes a 2 litre pot would have been 6.5” and a 4ltre pot 8” in size. And surely an established plant for that sized pot should be higher than the 21” tall plant we received.
(I can’t believe It was ever a Flowering plant, under any circumstances!) What it was is a waste of money.
So be warned, and if you think the plant was bad the customer service was worse. “Never again, with Gardening Express anyway.
