“DO NOT USE”

I placed an order on Thursday 8/24 to be delivered on Sat. 8/26. Did not arrive. Offered next day delivery when they said they could not reach local florist late Saturday. I agreed. Offered me discount and upgrade in size of bouquet if I would accept following day (Sunday) delivery. No delivery was made on Sunday 8/27 either. Many calls made and e mails sent to many different (responding) customer service reps. I demanded follow up and a sizable discount plus the enhanced size bouquet and then agreed to a Monday delivery. Meanwhile these flowers missed the two anniversary parties that were being held for the recipients. Many e mails and calls later, the bouquet arrived just before 5 p.m. (to mid west state) on Monday 8/28. While bouquet was not as pictured, probably because purple roses were not available, a photo my friend took with his I phone that he sent to me, showed the bouquet was of a satisfactory quality. I am sure these reps. getting these orders at From You Flowers do not place the orders in a timely way! I think there is never an intention to do so, which means they lie! The problem does not appear to be with the local florist but with the sending company, From Your Flowers.com. If you look at the reviews, you will see the same complaint repeated again and again. Additionally, my friend who knows all of the local florists well including the one who delivered the bouquet, says that all in that area are very responsible and have excellent reputations. Do not use this company if you care about when your flowers arrive at their destination and if you don't want to spend lots of time talking to and e mailing Customer Service. Also, one of the Customer Service Reps. "misunderstood" or misrepresented my delivery instructions to subsequent Customer Service reps on the record and to the local florist. I know this, because the last Customer Service Rep. tried to explain to me that part of the problem was that I had specified that I wanted a before 9 a.m. or after 3 p.m. delivery time. I had recommended a delivery after 3 p.m. for the Sunday delivery but did not insist on that and made clear that anytime during the usual delivery hours would be ok. For the original Saturday delivery that was requested, no extra consideration was requested at all! P.S. an apology telephone message that was supposed to go from the company From Your Flowers to the intended recipients in advance of the late delivery, was made to MY phone number in New York, rather than to theirs. No one at this company reads e mails carefully apparently. This company is a disaster. Don't blame the local florist. It is the sending company that should be out of business. One positive thing to add: The customer service reps were always polite, but most did not follow up appropriately at all, so what does it matter?
