I was sent a letter from asda hyde opticians saying I was due for an eye test.Rang to book an appointment,it was engaged 3 times. When I eventually got through I booked an appointment. What a nightmare it was,the person who took my details was useless and kept getting my details wrong..When I had my eyes tested,my glasses kept steaming up,it took ages. When I eventually saw the foreign young optician she was bad tempered, ignorant and spoke to me like I was an idiot.I am 52 and disabled. After spending over an hour there I was told I didn't need any glasses as my eyesight hadn't changed,I wonder was it because being disabled I don't have to pay for my glasses?I rang Specsavers when I got home and was booked in the next day.All the staff were lovely including the wonderful foreign optician. They told me that my eyesight had got a bit worse in one eye since my last appointment, which I had noticed myself and was given 2 gorgeous pairs of glasses free,1 pair for reading and 1 pair for long distance. My eyesight is miles better since wearing these lovely glasses.Top marks Specsavers
