“Shipping costs more than my order itself to Canada”

Forbidden Planet has a good variety of products that are hard to find in Canada. I was happy to find some Limited Edition Slipcase books that are not available here. I placed an order and waited for the email to tell me how much my tracking would be, and at my greatest surprise, it was slightly more than my order itself due to the weight. So my total ended up doubling itself. I was not happy at all. I had to order these to secure copies which are now out of stock. There was nothing they could do about the shipping, which is why I will not recommend purchasing from them. I have given 1 star for the variety of products and 2 stars for the packing. The packaging was perfect. The box was bigger than the books, but every corner was stuffed with paper to minimize damage. Not only that, the individual books themselves had each their own box in which they fit perfectly without any movement. I was extremely impressed with the packaging. I wish all my books came perfectly packaged and in perfect condition like these did. The shipping time was also very impressive. I waited only a few business days when I expected 2-4 weeks. Overall, I would not recommend this seller and will not be placing another order due simply due to the shipping cost. This results in the loss of the last 2 stars.
