“Very expensive and no clear information”

I returned the car in perfect conditions two hours before the time limit so we had plenty of time in order to check everything. The person who was in charge at the airport (in Madrid) did not say anything to me. Then I discovered that Goldcar charged my credit card for more than 300 euros. I did not sign anything! An email informed me that I had to pay 59 euros for fuel (9 euros for lacking fuel and 50.00 euros for penalty) and 30 euros for an extra car cleaning. Both these reasons are unjustified according to me and - as I said - I was not informed about that when I returned the car. In fact, I wonder wether there was not enough fuel and I do not think that an extra cleaning was necessary. They also charged me for more than 200 euros for extra kilometres. But my reservation on Rentalcars was for unlimited km.
Lack of clearness, transparence and information ... an unfair way to deal with clients. Even in Barcellona, when I picked up the car, the person who was in charge for that did not inform me about these conditions (Km, cleaning, fuel, etc.). And even the fact that I had to pay 150 euros more because I wanted to return the car in Madrid was not clearly announced (other companies write it clearly).

I am very unhappy about the whole situation.

I did not appreciate your way of working and I am think you should CLEARLY explain the conditions you apply when a client rents a car.
