“Absolutely bad customer service! My experience...”

Good Points
Habitat has some nice merchandise, decent quality. Wide range of design options. Rather modern. I quite like their products and also the more "gadget-like" ones.

Bad Points
Website is almost useless and difficult to navigate. Doesn't really provide enough information.

General Comments
Absolutely bad customer service! My experience in-store correlates with the online experience. Wanted to buy an item in their Richmond (UK) outlet. Although this product was on display and (according to their database) in stock, the shop assistant couldn't find it. She was not willing to search for items in their storage room as "shop was too busy". I'm expected to return once the item has been found! So basically she was too busy and/ or lazy to make a sale! I'm asking to make a sale but this is too much effort. I've always been under the impression that shop assistants are employed to make sales. My problem is, the item I wanted to buy needs to be compatible with another piece of furniture I have bought from them. Can not substitute. Never again will I buy from habitat. Too much inconvenience. And you can't even order this product online.
