my indesit fridge freezer broke down within my 4 year warranty period; firstly the hotpoint engineer was off on the sick and did not turn up on the date specified.
then john lewis gave me the promise of a replacement hotpoint fridge freezer without specifying a date as to when I could expect it.
after a month without my indesit fridge freezer and throwing out food which had gone off I contact lewis' three times without ever getting a date for the delivery of my hotpoint fridge freezer.
it was finally delivered on the sixth week after the indesit broke down, without any indication as to when it was coming
I find that this customer service and lack of any documentation unacceptable, and thus I will never shop with john lewis' again
I would never have shopped with john lewis if I had known of the treatment I received re thi whole afair
