“False advertisement of star ratings for hotel”

Flights and coach transfers were very good both times around. However, this time we booked a '3-star' hotel/self-catering. Having just arrived, we could see that this hotel was not a 3 star standard (after the year before we booked 3-star in Turkey and the hotel was a very high standard). The reasons for this is that: - cold showers on a regular basis (not often would there be hot water)
- no air conditioning
- cockroaches were regular occurrences in the ground floor apartment
- a lack of parasols in the swimming pool area
- insufficient facilities for a 'self-catering' service

I would not trust OntheBeach again and do not recommend them as the star ratings are not to be trusted. I would have starred this hotel at a 1-2 star not a 3 star.
