“WE HAVE YOUR MONEY, TOUGH”

BOUGHT THREE SEAT SOFA AND TWO RECLINER CHAIRS AND WITHIN TWO WEEKS OF DELIVERY BOTH SOFAS DEVELOPED FAULTS. All the arms and cushions sunk quicker than the Titanic,the material on the seat and back on one of the recliners wrinkled like worse than an UN-ironed shirt. After contacting the store a representative was sent out and he made a report saying there was nothing wrong with the sofas. We asked the store to revisit to check the sofas and this time the rep said there was not enough padding and there was too much material used. Having heard nothing for two weeks I contacted the store and was told they were sending someone out to repair the sofas, the next day the store phoned to say they would be collecting the sofas and replacing all three items, but we would have to wait another 14 weeks. Approximately 12 weeks later we were given a date for the delivery, this date came and went.
In the following 10 months I contacted the store,head office countless times and was promised a return call every time but in ten months I received not one phone call. Each time I called I was given a difference reason to why we had not received the sofas of which I had paid over £1400 in cash, The sofas are in quarantine, we only have two of the three items, we can not find the sofas.After 10 months I cancelled the order. The same day I cancelled the order I received my first ever phone call an given a date for the collection. The following week the sofas were collected. I am severely disabled, on almost permanent oxygen, suffer spinal problems and virtually housebound, yet Harvey's left me with no sofas and no apology. I wrote a letter to head office complaining about this issue and they replied saying they would look into the matter and hoped should I wish to buy any other furniture they would be glad to help. I don't think so. DO YOURSELF A BIG BIG FAVOR, STAY AWAY FROM HARVEY'S I WISH I HAD.
