Signed up for the monthly scheme to cover a holiday and unlike lots of online services, it was quick and simple to unsubscribe afterwards. The service itself was generally reliable throughout the holiday and gave me access to my TV services which complemented the internet sevice in the apartment. There were only a few interruptions and time outs from TVWhenAway although it was obvious that high demand at weekends had a negative impact on the broadband service I was using, so buffering became a problem at these busy times. I don't think this was the fault of TVWhenAway but you might need to consider this if you are thinking of using it in conjunction with a slower connection.
All in all, good value.
