“Four poster bed ”

Hi
I ordered a bed on line I talked on line to the person and asked questions if the bed was a double which she said it was .
I waited for the order which came over an hour after they had stated they can only deliver on a Wednesday so I had to arrange my dad to be present .All tolerable
I built the bed which became apparent was a king size still fits my mistake I should have measured .
BUT the bed as no slats so there are big holes for the mattress to fall through.
Now I'm stuck with a bed I can not sleep on number 1 I have had to order another mattress but the Holes are too big and the mattress falls through on to the floor .
I have rung after service team which is closed sat at 11am hmm
I sent an email the evening I built the bed.No reply as yes 2 days ago.
And now I don't know what to do .
Do I need to go buy plywood for the base of a bed that cost me nearly 600 pounds I don't know what to do.
They say 14 days free return so I think that's my option if I can contact them before 14 days is up.
So so disappointed.
I will never buy from them again .
