I ordered two outdoor planters and,on their non-arrival, I contacted Interparcel who had used Hermes as their carrier. Hermes said that they had tried to deliver the parcel but it had been"refused". On the day when this was supposed to have happened I was 80 miles away from my home! Hermes promised that the parcel would be delivered "soon" but eventually they declared the parcel lost. Hermes told Interparcel that due to a "lack of scans" and despite a search of the depot the parcel could not be located. In answer to my subsequent complaint, Hermes kept referring me back to Interparcel. Basically Hermes gave me the impression that they couldn't care less and had made little or no effort to find the parcel. I would urge any prospective customers not to have anything to do with Hermes. Do not buy from any company which uses Hermes as its carrier. Avoid them like the plague!
