“Words fail me”

I was called at 12.30 to pick up our Coffee Table asap on the same day as they can't store it. So we had no choice but to hire a large vehicle a 7 seater taxi to pick it up with my husband. My husband picked up the coffee table and noticed that the box was severely damaged, 3 large deep holes and gashes on the box to which the Dwell Staff stated that all the boxes come like that, and that the table will be fine inside you'll see! So my husband accepted the explanation and brought the table home. Upon opening the box we noticed deep scratches on the table which is very noticeable due to the tables texture.

I called DWELL Bolton and spoke to a gentleman who wasn't helpful at all. He suggested that I bring back the table by taxi again at my own cost! After going round in circles with him as his English wasnt very good nor clear, I gave the phone to my husband to deal with. Clearly, he wasn't going to help us, so we stated we were going to make a complaint. Straight away he gave us an email address to send our complaint too along with photographs of the damage.

So far, not a very good experience with DWELL.

We are now still awaiting a response from them!.
