“Self service insurance company with no help what so ever”

A driver hit my parked car overnight and the police caught the driver. Simple 100% claim it was their fault. Called Admiral to make a claim, was told to deal with the claim myself and call the other persons insurance. Called again to make sure and was told again to deal with it myself or pay £500 excess for them to get involved! Its actually in their T&C's not to do this. Did everything myself and claim is still not finalised but yet Admiral cancelled my policy, this also has my wife's car on this policy. Dealing with the ombudsman and my solicitor to sort this mess out. Avoid at all costs
