“Think before you buy from this company ”

We ordered a corner suite from Harveys Furniture store on new years day 2017. We were told it would be 14 weeks which you accept and I paid a deposit. In April we received a call saying the suite was ready for delivery and full payment was required. I paid this and a date was set. About a week later I received a call from Harveys stating the boat had been delayed and they would have to change delivery dates. I was told it was ready, had I known it was not in the country I would not have made full payment. The suite was finally delivered on the 2/5/17 but it was the wrong colour and it was found that the salesman had ordered the wrong one. The deliverymen were telling us to keep the wrong one until till it was replaced but I refused and thank god I did otherwise we would have been at their mercy. I was told they would have to order a new one which would take at least another 3 months unless there was one in the warehouse. One was found and after numerous phone calls wasting about 3 hours of my time and several visits to the store the only thing that was done was an order for a new one placed. I had made it known from the start that I would cancel unless this was sorted this out. Finally after three weeks of being messed around I have cancelled the order and requested a full refund. Now they can't refund to my card and will send me a cheque. I wonder how long this will take,I wont hold my breath. Wish I had read these review before buying from Harveys
