My rescue Springer is nine years old. Ever since I had him at eighteen months he has tended to have overly soft stools. Typically, his first poo of the day would be okay but thereafter they would be very soft or liquid. He was fed on Pro Plan dried food. A couple of years ago, I changed to Burns lamb and rice. Ever since then, he has lovely firm stools.
