I have a 10 year old Rottweiler bitch. By the time she was 18 months old she was usually on Metacam maybe three times a year. I changed to Burns Lamb and Brown Rice, and she hasn't been lame since. She is a very lively ten year old, and I attribute this to the Burns she has been fed on since being a young dog.
The only thing that maybe could be improved is its availability. It has to be ordered from Burns or a few veterinary clinics stock it.
