“Wow what a find! After having read some of the reviews...”

Wow what a find! After having read some of the reviews I was curious but we had the most fantastic day. Weather was a bit drizzly on and off (not the best weather to visit a zoo) but the sun broke out and we spent most of the day going round and round, each time we saw something which had been asleap of hiding earlier. The staff were so friendly and informative and the talks were brilliant especially for the children, our favourite was the creature feature when the owls were flying and later we were all able to touch some of the smaller animals such as the snakesand lizards. We did take a picnic and it was wonderful to ber able to find one of the many secluded little garden spots all to ourselves but having checked out the little coffee shop there was plenty of reasonably priced things we could have bought in there. Our favourite animals were the baby tapir and the young red kangaroo. The children loved being able to get close to the huge lions and being able to see the tiger through the glass. We also like the idea of being able to get backwards and forwards to the car ( although we had to wait for a few minutes to get to the little pay kiosk). I cant understand anyone complaining about the very reasonable charge of £7.50 for an adult or £5 for a child. BRILLIANT! long may it last, we will definately be going back and with our friends. Thank you for a great time.
