General Comments
I a 2.0 litre HDi Peugeot 307 SW as a cheap but comfortable dog carrier for my own three working springers and various springers that come in to the rescue I work for.

It's well up to the job in terms of space and comfort.

A bonus transporting dogs is the climate control, an absolute must in the summer, the climate control gets it to the temperature you want quickly and holds it there, keeping passengers and dogs cool what ever the outside temperature.

Economy is excellent for a car this size, even with the climate control on auto all the time it still manages 45.6 mpg, an excellent feature is the trip computer that displays miles to next fill up, no more guess work as to whether there is enough fuel left in the tank to get you to the next fuel station.

Panaromic glass sunroof lets plenty of light in to the car and being Athermic glass doesn't tend to overheat the car in the sun either, there is a shade that can be used to shut out the light that is electrically adjusted.

The car comes with a 5 CD changer as standard and steering column controls that control the radio and CD.

Switches and controls are well laid out, the dash is clear and easy to read being illuminated red at night.

Comfort features include electric windows all round, height adjustable seat and height and reach adjustable steering wheel and the already mentioned, climate control and power steering.

Rear seats can be removed and changed around for different layouts, the car is supposedly a seven seater but space in the rear row of two seats would only be adequate for short journeys for adults but OK for children. Three point seat belts are provided for all seven seats although you do need to buy seats six and seven if you want to use the car as a seven seater.

Space in the back is excellent being accessed by a rear top opening tailgate.

Rear seat passengers have airline style tables built in to the back of the front seats with cup holders.

Styling is good with a sharply raked bonnet and windscreen and sharp teardrop shaped head lights, roof bars are standard as is the already mentioned panoramic sunroof extending from the front seats two thirds of the way back along the roof.

Problems we've had with this car have been niggley little electrical problems, each time Peugeot technicians attached a fault finder computer to the car, told us what the problem was and we bought the parts and fitted them ourselves.
