Good Points
Looked like a good rich Merlot, especially in an elegant wine glass.

Bad Points
Too sweet, overpriced.

General Comments
Found Sutter Home Fre 2005/06 Merlot much more palatable when well chilled and with a small amount of soda water to give it an extra zing. Would rather spend the money on a cheap bottle of red plonk!
