On our visit to the Emma Roy shop of Saturday, despite having made an appointment and requesting a specific dress, which we were assured was in stock - we were treated very disrespectfully. The dress was not available and had been discontinued - but the shop did not inform us of this prior to the visit. The changing rooms were appaling to say the least and the assistant allocated to us was a total waste of space. To have to come out into the main area of the shop along with five other girls who were trying on dress was not at all what we expected for this special purchase.
My future daughter-in-law was distraught after her visit and if it had not been for the fact that she had previous experience of bridal shops from visits with both her sisters, I doubt she would every return to another shop.
You can be assured we will never return to Emma Roys and will also advise anyone asking us of our experience to go elsewhere.
