Good Points
Made a fairly good job on floor tiles and laminate flooring. Easy to operate and was quick to heat up.

Bad Points
The power lead is far too short and it's impossible to clean even the smallest of floors without having to unplug the machine and insert it into another socket. It also has an awkward shape which makes it difficult to get under radiators. The attachment that enables the machine to clean carpets is very flimsy and slips off too easy.

General Comments
The HT824 is a good idea for cleaning hard floors without using chemicals but a lot more thought has to go into it's design. Although it does a decent job on tiles and hardwood flooring, I found that it struggled to clean carpets and upholstery. Overall, I was a little bit disappointed with the machine.
