Light and small in size. Uses 2 pencells but rechargeables are really a must. Also do go for a 64Meg memory card as minimum (as an extra to the 32 Meg card supplied?). Resolution is superb and colours natural once you learn how to use all the functions. Having said that, it is not difficult.
None that affect me.
Having upgraded from a Fuji 2.1 Megapixel camera I found the improvement in resolution to be phenomenal. Thought the photos were a bit dark at first but then I read the instruction book and you really do need to. Strong sunlight as backlight can make the foreground look very drab. Spot focusing makes a difference. To a Professional this may seem obvious but it wasn't to me. Now I understand what makes it tick, the piccys are great. However, do convert the jpg. files to tif images before you start adjusting image size etc. Having read the reviews of most 4 Megapixel cameras the V4 comes out as one of the best at the price. Everything is a compromise; the V4 is one of the better ones.
This review might seem a bit lightweight to an expert, you pays your money and makes your choice. I did.
