Good Points
Cheap, now getting a decent parts supply through another source, mostly reliable, short, twin exhausts sound fantastic on tickover (but give away the engine size as soon as you move away!).

Bad Points
Terrible quality of metal, most bike mechanics won't touch it with a bargepole, mine was unreliable for the first 6 months, electrics are a bit dodgy.

General Comments
I bought mine two years ago and have had my ups and downs with it. When it arrived it took a long time to find a mechanic willing to even look at it, but once I did it took about 3 visits and a few months to get it all working correctly. It now does about 180 miles a week to take me to work and back through the four seasons - a true, inexpensive commuter bike.
I've now passed my DAS and I'm looking for a big bike, but the Haotian Vixen has been an inexpensive and quite enjoyable way to give me the road sense and confidence to do it.
Just bear in mind that it's a very cheap bike, you may have trouble getting a professional to give it the time of day and you may have to spend a bit of money getting it sorted properly once you DO find one. If you do this, the Haotian will reward you with £15 a year tax, 100mpg and an exhaust note that sings to you.
