“I have been a member of Bannatyne Banbury since July...”

I have been a member of Bannatyne Banbury since July 2010. Due to a recent seperation I have moved out of the area, 30 miles to be exact. I spoke to them today to say I have moved and woukd like to cancel my membership. To be told that it was a 12 month contract and I would need to give 3 months written notice as per the contract. I said I was aware of it being for 12 months, but as i was nearly an hours drive away I could not attend the club. They said this was not the clubs fault and I would have to continue paying!!! Head office gave the same talk. I explained that other clubs, Esporta, will cancel your membership if you move. But Bannatynes were still not interested. They are just want your money and don't care about your circumstances!!!

Stay clear and don't join...
