Would I recommend Bannatynes Gyms? NO!



They have some crazy company policies, which just haven't been thought through properly.



1. Roll over contract, which means they keep taking money from your account even when your contract has run out, unless you give notice in writing to the main office? Thanks Duncan!

2. If you forget your membership card three times we will charge you £10 .WHAT!



"The sales person who takes you're hard earn money gives none of this information"



I jointed Rotherham gym, which is positioned just off the M18 nr Maltby, opposite Morrisons in October 2008. After just a few weeks I got the impression the management (mainly Scottish) and very poor even aggressive to members. I spoke to many members whilst sat in the sauna who shared the same opinion, and head some horror stories of how they had been treated and spoken to. It seems all you need on your CV is "Nationality Scottish", no staff training required if you fill this criteria.



I let my membership run out and had no intension of rejoining, however I received a phone call from staff with a membership offer. They said they could offer me the same deal as I received on my first subscription in 2008, which wasn't a bad deal actually, so I said I would drop in and chat. When I arrived I was informed that the sales person had spoken to a the area sales person and now could not offer me the deal, but they could offer a another great deal which was there current offer at £518 which was a £43 increase .. WHAT! Well you can imagine my response; I left and then wrote this review.



Richard Branson please open a GYM to sort this shower of idiots out!
