“The Total Gym XLI is a good all round workout machine...”

written by on 11/05/2009

Good Points
You can do 7-8 different exercises without getting off to change anything.
It folds flat enough to store under the bed.

Bad Points
Gym goers will want more weight (although slowing repetitions works well to compensate).
Some techniques rewuire you to be "upside down" which can cause nausea when combined with lots of effoet.

General Comments
The Total Gym XLI is a good all round workout machine that can be adapted for the requirements of all but devout body builders.
The Total gym uses body weight rather than dead weight via a series of pulleys and cables, so every movement you make lifts your body weight. There are 7 incline levels that the bench can be set to from flat (really easy) to 7 (very hard for some exercises).
