Good Points
The PDA facility with the stylus is a major plus especially if one uses the phone for notes and sms. It has a nice range of features and additional software can be downloaded such as a dictionary facility. Speed is fine through GPRS. Syncronisation and backup is a pleasure. Picture quality is not that great in a area where the lighting is not good (unlike the Nokia 7650)
Bad Points
A bit bulky and expensive. One would expect a hardcover pouch as a standard accessory to protect the screen. Lots of scrolling needed when on the internet. The sound quality is not good when using the speakerphone facility as the volume has to be turned down the prevent feedback of the sound back in the microphone. Battery life still a problem. The keypad buttons are a bit small considering the overall size of the phone.
General Comments
The P800 was worth the wait as it became available in South Africa only in April 2003.
Very happy with the PDA function and the camera.
There is a desktop unit that can replace the existing charger/syncroniser. It has a speakerphone facility as well (CSS-20 DPY901403)
Overall, very impress with this phone.
