I received my SCP Tourmaline Ceramic straighteners in the post this morning and couldn't wait to use them!

I have just straightened my hair with them and am very impressed!

I purchased these from ebay and they came with a free bottle of GHD oil. The straighteners heated up quickly, and I had control over the temperature ranging from 80 degrees to 200.

I set my straighteners to around 150 as my hair is curly yet fairly dry. After just a few sweeps over a section of hair, it was lovely and straight, and thick right down to the ends of my hair. Some hair straighteners straighten the hair leaving the ends looking dry, split and straw like. Not the SCPs! With the combination of GHD oil and the SCP technology the finished product left my barnet smooth, silky and very shiny!

The cord is a good length and the swivel action makes them easy to use.

Now there is a lot of talk of these being better than GHDs. If I am to be brutally honest, I don't think they are better BUT are the next best thing! Plus they claim to be healthier for your hair. I would certainly recommend these to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to GHDs.
