Good Points
Separate bedroom pods, walk in height living area with plenty of space, choice of entrance options, weather resistance, pole sleeves made of heavy duty material, looks really smart too. Great value for money. Permanent instructions sewn into carry case.
Bad Points
Only supplied with 6" pegs which are no good for soft, wet ground.
General Comments
We bought the Eurohilke Sandringham after seeing it in a Millets showroom and being impressed by its spaciousness. We have just come back from a week in lovely Dorset when we had, unfortunately, mostly foul weather. There was heavy rain and winds on one night strong enough to retire half of the ships taking part in the race from I.O.W. to Plymouth. We were really impressed with the weather resistance of this tent, it didn't leak at all and resisted very strong winds although this was with the aid of 10" pegs bought with the anticipation of the standard 6" ones not being up to it.
We found this tent to be a pleasure to pitch and take down the H/D" pole sleeves really are a boon. Another good point is that the stated berth is realistic, the 2 separate bedrooms will each take a double airbed with a bit of room to spare the clip in bedrooms have D shaped doors with "bathtub" type groundsheet and the usual option of full or flymesh door panel. Another nice touch is the supplied panel of pockets that hangs between the bedrooms.
The living area groundsheet clips in and does leave a small area of ground between it and the tent wall. Overall very pleased and very good value.
