General Comments
We stayed at The New Angel for our 10th anniversary in July 2008. We stayed at the New Angel rooms and the room was lovely and spotlessly clean however a shower would have been appreciated, there was only a bath. The food at the New Angel is great however I have had as good in other places for less money. Another downside which really dissapointed my husband is that he had pre-arranged with the New Angel for flowers and champagne to be left in the room for me - this was not in the room on arrival and never materialised which I think was very bad service. Also the directions to the rooms seemed unclear and inaccurate causing us to walk around Dartmouth for half an hour with our bags before finally having to ring the restaurant and be told to go there for our key! This aspect of our stay very disorganised.
